Bern Boat Race mainly takes place in the municipality of Wohlen.

By public transport from Berne

Wohlen and Hinterkappelen can be reached by Post-bus lines 100 and 107. From the Wohlen b. Bern Gemeindehaus stop, for example, spectators can reach a point with a panoramic view of Lake Wohlen in just a few minutes by foot. From the Illiswil stop, spectators can reach the "Water Tree BBQ" within 30 minutes.

The start and finish area of the Bern Boat Race, at the Wohlen bridge (Wohleibrücke), has a limited number of parking spaces for crew athletes and staff as well as the public.
